NeuroVia is currently conducting two clinical studies in X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy:
NV1205-009: Safety, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacodynamics of NV1205 in Pediatric Male Subjects with Adrenoleukodystrophy
This is an interventional clinical study assessing the safety and pharmacodynamics of NV1205 in childhood cerebral ALD patients that are not receiving a stem cell or marrow transplant. The study is being conducted in Europe, South America and Australia and is currently recruiting. Please visit www.ccald.com for further details and to find out how eligible patients may participate.
NV1205-008: A Study to Prospectively Assess Disease Progression in Male Children with X-ALD
This is a non-interventional, observational study for male children with any X-ALD diagnosis (including asymptomatic patients, patients with childhood cerebral ALD or patients with adrenal insufficiency) to determine the natural progression of disease and facilitate the definition of leading indicators of disease progression. The study is currently recruiting in the US. Please visit www.ccald.com for further details and to find out how eligible patients may participate.
